PITCHFORD VILLAGE HALL
The village hall serves all four villages; Pitchford, Acton Burnell, Frodesley and Ruckley & Langley and operates as a charity. The management committee of trustees includes representatives drawn from all the villages. The committee meets four times a year and the AGM is held in March each year.
Funding comes from hire charges, a tote and the monthly pub night held on the second Friday of the month. There are 200 tote tickets which cost £12 for the year. There are four monthly prizes of £50, £25, £15 and £10.
The Hall is licensed and has the benefit of a projector and big screen for screening of live events. There is a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, crockery and cutlery for 80 people plus glasses. There is also a disabled access ramp and internal facilities for those with disabilities.
