Local elections - 1 May 2025
Local elections took place on 1 May 2025 for the following bodies:
- Acton Burnell, Frodesley, Pitchford, Ruckley and Langley Parish Council
- Shropshire Council (Burnell Ward)
Results
Parish Council
The elections for the Parish Council were uncontested. 8 councillors were elected, as follows:
- Pitchford - Alan Hotchkiss
- Frodesley - Carmen Culliss, Graham Davies
- Acton Burnell - John Long, Paul Harrison, Gareth Ball
- Ruckley and Langley - Keith Faulkner
An additional councillor for Pitchford, Russell Davies, was co-opted to fill a vacant seat following the elections at the Annual Parish Council Meeting on 13 May 2025.
Shropshire Council
The Councillor elected to Shropshire Council to represent Burnell Ward was Chris Naylor.
