Jubilee Picnic

Acton Burnell, Frodesley, Pitchford, Ruckley and Langley Parish Council invites you to a Parish picnic to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee on Sunday 5 June at The Orangery at Pitchford Hall.

 

Tickets

Tickets cost £3 per person and may be exchanged for a free ice cream on the day.

Tickets are limited, please buy early to avoid disappointment.

Jubilee Crown Competition

Create and decorate your own crown and bring it to the picnic to enter our best crown competition. Competition entry is free.

Prizes will be offered for the best crown in the following groups:

  • Primary school age and under
  • Secondary school age
  • Adult

The competition will be judged at 1.45pm, so please make sure you are in attendance at this time if you wish to enter the competition. The judges' decision is final.

Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer

The "organisers" refers to Acton Burnell, Frodesley, Pitchford, Ruckley and Langley Parish Council; the volunteer group helping to co-ordinate the picnic; and Pitchford Hall Estate.

  1. Use of the Orangery is by kind invitation of James and Rowena Nason.
  2. Please bring your own picnic, drinks and rug.
  3. Admittance will only be allowed with a ticket. 
  4. Your ticket entitles you to one free scoop of ice cream which will be available between 1.30pm and 4.30pm on the day. Your ticket must be surrendered to receive your ice cream. A vegan/dairy free sorbet option will be available but stocks may be limited.
  5. While the organisers will take great care to ensure the safety of all attendees, by attending the picnic you agree that your safety and that of any children with you is your responsibility and that the organisers are not responsible or liable for your safety.
  6. The organisers accept no liability for loss or damage to any personal possessions which you may bring with you.
  7. Parking will be available on the site. Vehicles and their contents are parked at your own risk.
  8. Refunds: if, due to circumstances beyond our control (for example Covid lockdown or extremely bad weather), we are unable to run the event, tickets will be refunded.
  9. Pets: no dogs or other pets please.
  10. You are welcome to bring chairs etc. Please do not use umbrellas where they may block others' view of the entertainment.
  11. No barbecues.
  12. Please take all your rubbish home.
  13. No smoking please.
  14. The activity timings are approximate and may be subject to change on the day. 
  15. Any government regulations regarding COVID 19 valid on the date of the event will be adhered to. Please be considerate of others and do not attend if you are unwell.
  16. Please be aware that the ground is uneven and there is a step up to the building with the toilets. Please contact the organisers in advance if you require further information about accessibility or you may require assistance on the day.
